Why are our prices so low in comparison to Retail Stores ?
Because we are a jewelry manufacturing company, we can offer you the same prices that we market to wholesalers and jewelry stores.

If I send a payment today, How soon will I receive my purchase ?
We will ship out your order within 24 hours from the time you have purchased an item.
If any changes need to be made to the ring; for example the ring needs to be resized or we have to set a diamond to a ring, etc., please allow an extra 24 hours for us to ship out your package.

What payment methods do you accept ?
We currently only accept the following methods of payment when purchasing an item from us. You can pay through PayPal using your existing accout or any major credit card of your choice(American Express, Mastercard, Visa). Also you can pay by sending us a Money Order or Cashier's Check made out to Diamond Traces Inc. The only other method of payment that we are currently accepting is a bank to bank wire transfer.

Are the items sold on your site brand new and real ?
Yes. All of our jewelry is real and genuine. We do not sell used jewelry, fake or lab created diamonds.

Do we offer Appraisals or Certificates ?
To guarantee the high quality and integrity of your purchase and give you the ultimate peace of mind and confidence, we have provided you with a Diamond Traces Certificate of Authenticity containing a detailed grading report, FREE OF CHARGE! Every certificate includes a detailed diamond and jewelry report that provides a reliable and accurate grade as well as an appraisal.
If you would like a third party group to provide a certification (GIA, EGL, AGS, GGL, UGL, IGI and GAL) it will cost an additional $100 or more (depending on the carat size) and an extra three weeks.

Do you resize rings ?
Yes. If you require resizing of a ring please contact us before the close of an auction. With a few exceptions, most of our rings can be resized up or down two sizes. If you do request resizing it can delay delivery of an item.

Will you create a custom piece of jewelry for me ?
Yes. If you have the perfect diamond in mind, but don't like the setting you can use our Build Your Own Ring service to find exactly what your looking for. If you like the setting, but want a different diamond we can help you pick out the perfect diamond for you. Our dedicated staff will work closely with you to customize any piece of jewelry to your liking. If you're looking for something even more unique that you don't see, we can help you Design Your Own Ring with our revolutionary design service.

What if I can't find the diamond I want on your site ?
We have hundreds of loose diamonds to choose from, so if you don't see what you are looking for simply contact us by phone, or e-mail us with the size of the diamond you are looking for along with the color, shape, clarity and budget(if any). Our dedicated staff will work directly with you to find the diamond you're looking for.

I like the diamond but I want to change the setting ?
If you see a ring that you like but want a different setting, don't be discouraged, we have hundreds of different settings to choose from. Even though we don't list all of our settings, we have a large selection in our office at our disposal; so don't hesitate to ask for something you don't see because chances are we carry the setting thats right for you.

Will I be charged sales tax ?
If you live in the state of New York you will be charged sales tax on all items that you purchase. Any customer recieving a package outside New York State will not be charged any sales tax.

Can you laser inscribe my diamond for me ?
We do offer laser inscription on all of our diamonds purchased through us. Through a new age process we can inscribe any information on the girtle of the diamond. It can be anything from the diamonds color and clarity to a personal greeting to the recipient.

Can I buy from you if I live outside the United States ?
We do allow customers from outside the US to purchase items from us. We offer international shipping to most countries across the globe. Please refer to our International Shipping Table for availability and rates. Please note the buyer is responsible for all customs taxes.

Where should I keep my diamond jewelry ?
We recommend that all diamond jewelry be stored in soft cloth pouches when not being worn.

How should I take care of my diamond jewelry ?
Exposure to household chemicals such as chlorine can cause build-up that dulls the surface of the diamond.
We recommend periodic cleaning to keep the diamond sparkling like new. Windex and a piece of cloth will be sufficient most of the time.

Are Clarity Enhanced Diamonds real diamonds ?
Yes, clarity enhanced diamonds are real diamonds like any other diamonds, they come from the same mines as the rest of the diamonds in the world. These diamonds are simply natural diamonds that had visible inclusions and thru a process of high pressure and high temperature, a silicone glue like material is injected into the inclusion to make the inclusion far less visible. What if I want to return my order ?
If for any reason you decide you want to return your item, you may do so within 7 Days of recieving your item, no questions asked. Simply send us back your item(s), in the original condition it was recieved and we will refund your money as well as shipping costs. Any item that is altered in any way after we ship it out is no longer returnable. Please see our Return Policy for more information.
